We run an online teaching clinic to provide students with an extensive clinical internship, and patients with affordable, high quality gemmotherapy treatment for a wide range of health conditions. For students, the teaching clinic is an integral part of the experience of studying at the School of Gemmotherapy. It is where, in a safe and supportive environment, students come face to face with clinical gemmotherapy. The theoretical parts of the course get put into practice. The knowledge gained through lessons and assignments is applied in real-life situations. Students find out what really does and doesn't work. They build skills and confidence in their own abilities as a practitioner, which are essential to them once they leave the School. For patients, the School clinic is an opportunity to receive high level gemmotherapy treatment and advice, wherever they live in the world. A group of dedicated students work together with an experienced, highly qualified supervisor (the supervisor must be a medical doctor who is also a leading practitioner of gemmotherapy, and will also have a background in one or more other CAM therapies), to discuss approaches to and suggest solutions for each individual case. ConsultationsIf you would like to be treated in the School Clinic, an experienced student (a graduate of the Certificate course) will act as your primary practitioner, liase with you and take your case by Skype video conference, telephone or email, or when possible, in person. The student then presents your case (anonymously and in full confidentiality) to the students and tutors in the School clinic. After this, all participants will analyse your case and discuss possible treatment strategies, before deciding on the one they would like to recommend to you. The final choice has to be approved by the Clinic Supervisor. This means that your case will be fully considered both by dedicated students and at least one highly experienced practitioner of gemmotherapy and tutor at the School. We find that this collaborative process yields very good results in practice. The student would then contact you again with the instructions on how to obtain the remedy(ies), directions for taking them, any other recommendations, and a plan for your further treatment. Normally, you would have a follow-up each month, at longer intervals if things are going well. The student will also be available by email should you have any questions to ask. The fee for a first consultation is 75 USD, and for follow-ups 50 USD. We do not send out remedies, but will advise on a recommended source to order them from. Please contact us if you have any questions about a case, or you are interested in treatment for yourself.
