More than a repertory and materia medica, Gemmostar is a total guide to gemmotherapy prescribing. Based on the last three years of courses, teaching, discussions and clinics, Gemmostar is only available to students and graduates of the School of Gemmotherapy. It's not just a useful way of quickly getting access to the essentials of all the material in the School - it's much more. The fact that all the remedies (oligotherapy as well as gemmotherapy), the drainage and therapeutic strategies, the how-to-prescribe-them protocols and the background information are linked and easily clickable, takes Gemmostar to a different level. You get a special overview of each prescribing problem and the best ways to overcome it. The remedies stand out in a way they didn't before. It sharpens our knowledge of gemmotherapy. One great feature is that since it can be continuously revised and expanded Gemmostar grows, updates and improves as we use it. Gemmostar is available free of charge to any student enrolled on one of our courses, as well as to any graduate of the Certificate course, Diploma course or Licence course (for at least as long again as the time they were studying; a few terms and conditions apply). Here are some screenshots of different sections to give you an idea of what it can do: This is a preview of a therapeutics page, with the 'best practice' strategy for treating ovarian cysts, further notes and links to the remedies and the suggested prescribing protocol.
Gemmostar's section on drainage is very complete, setting out strategies for the treatment of over thirty different parts of the body.
This is an example of a materia medica page - the remedy Fraxinus excelsior (Common Ash), buds. All the most important indications are there so that you can easily grasp the essence of the remedy, and see whether it applies to the case you are working on. There are sections for contra-indications and any other relevant information. You'll also find links taking you to concise definitions of technical terms, to full background information in Wikipedia, and to related or synergistic remedies.
Here, the oligotherapy materia medica pages give precise indications for using all known oligotherapy remedies. Contact us if you have any questions about Gemmostar, or if you would like to get access to it by enrolling on the Certificate course. |
